After I remove the shield from the card is it necessary to remove the tiny frame that held the shield to the card in order to get clean GFC price.

Gold flashed ones can stay, as can copper.

Others should be removed if it can be dons so easily.
Chris is realistic though.

If it’s held down by two or three solder balls just a bit them with a wire cutter.
If it is soldered down all the way around leave it be.

most of these are soldered all the way around and when I attempt to remove them I am pulling off the face of the card.
