Sorry I could not access the tested chip buying but I have a question on a couple of chips that seem like they should be listed however, I was unable to find them in the form. Please let me know if Boardsort does purchase these and how I should categorize them. Thank you in advance.

I5-6400 SR2L7
I5-7400 SR32W

I haven't sent in any chips for this myself but from what I understand the main limiting factor on what chips they can take is having the setup required to test a chip. Different chips have different compatibilities.

Another factor may be the resell value, even if they can test them some chips just may not be worth it.

I have sent in several used CPUs for the Tested CPU Buying Program and all of them have passed. I have also been frustrated when I find a newer CPU that isn't on the list, but if it's not on the list they can't test it and buy it. I have a few i5-7500T right now that I see for sale on the internet around $100 used.

I have wondered what type of equipment is needed to test a CPU because I pull these CPUs out of working computers that are being replaced because of their age.

If you have a CPU that is an I series Intel and it's not on the list, send an email to Chris and see if he will still buy it.

From email with Chris:
"Yes, we buy all i series. pay no attention to the s code. we would buy
it as 6500 regardless.

Any i series you find, even if not on list, we will buy. you can email
me "
