Should I pull the chips out or leave them on the board?

The Bel and one Danam appear to be batteries, possibly socketed and not soldered.

If the whole board has gold (kind of looks like it to me) then I think you're at at least high telco with the chips. This may even jump to the Gold Cap/Gold Edge/CNC category but that would need to come from someone more experienced than I.

I think they are soldered, but I'll take a closer look this evening.

I will leave the socketed chips on and separate them in my next shipment for a closer look.

Thanks for the info!

The bel and Danam chips are soldered on. I don’t see any indication that they have batteries. Wouldn’t they have a voltage if they were batteries?

Just their appearance made me think they were. I'll see if I can pull up any datasheets on them.

Well I got nothing...

Though with the additional pics I'm less inclined to think they're batteries.

oh and,

No batteries don't always have voltages on them

Thanks for checking! I’m going to send them as hi telco and hope for an upgrade.
