Hi everyone. Need help with grading hard drive boards. Most of mine don't look anything like the example pics. Thanks in advance.

Your going to want to look at the interface of the boards.

The most basic explanation is anything SATA will be low grade HDD

The rest will be high grade HDD.

My question would be, what do you consider the laptop hard drive boards as?

Does it have a SATA connector or another type?

Sata = Low Grade HDD
anything else = High Grade HDD
