Found this at a goodwill for $.55. Looked curious, does anyone know what it is?

The socket appears to be a 286 era socket, although I'm not sure what is connected. I do see some sort of potentiometer there, so my guess is some type of homebrew calibration device.
I'd give you $5 bucks plus shipping just to try it out.
Email me at my user name within gmail and we can sort it out.
It's more than you will get in scrap and I like to preserve this stuff.

I attempted emailing you. I got this at a thrift store, I could tell it was old, but no idea what it might do. I'll totally sell for $5 and please post here once you've tested it out. I love seeing things get saved too.
