Took apart a 1990s industrial robotics controller. Damn that’s a lot of logic gate chips.

Nothing but solder on the bottom. Low telecom?

High telecom?

I suppose this is midgrade as is. What grade will it be if I remove the transformer, giant capacitors, resistor, and green box?

Low or high peripheral?

1,2. High telco seems likely

3. There are quite a few ICs... removing the wire, transformer, fuse and the larger aluminum heatsink would probably clear you for low peripheral, feels like it's close anyway. I don't know what the green thing is so if it's heavy maybe cleaning more would move it to high peripheral?

4. I'd try to get the screws off personally if the plastic bit comes off after that, great; if not, no worries. I can't see any gold on any pins so I'm more comfortable saying low peripheral with the screws. If gold and no screws then high peripheral.
