Hello all, I am looking for opinions as to what these would classify as.

Thanks!

2 might be on the test and buy list, see if you can find the cpu info on the heatsink, if it's an i3/5/7/9 followed by a high enough number you can send it in for Boardsort to test, if working they'll buy it better than scrap price (which is pinless cpu)

3 may fall into the next paragraph if that's gold all around the the edge. If not I'm not sure what to do with it.

Everything else appears to be something Boardsort will need to use their xrf gun on to give a custom price.

Also, 4? Seems to have been stolen by a gremlin ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You may be interested in these 2 photos. The Lucent 1600 cut open. Definately got some gold inside.

Number 5 may go as Double Sided Gold CPU. Watch the video under that category. There is a CPU similar to yours.

The soldered and missing legs on 5 kept me from suggesting a CPU grade for it.

Marked141. The legs are the gull-wing pins extending out along the perimeter. It is actually a form of a Quad Flat Pack. Those gull-wings are gold from what I can see. Or coated. Spent some time searching. No luck. I would love to see the board that came from. And. I will stop my comment there.
I guess emailing Chris about the IC would be best.

Right, we're on the same page, solder covering gold pins has an impact on CPUs that get desoldered from boards. I suspect it may do the same here. It's definitely a nice dual gold cap regardless. Hopefully Wi301759 will reach out and get feedback from Chris so I we can all benefit

Found the PCBs they were likely lifted from.

I thought to post another example of hidden gold on hybrids. Custom manufactured components.
One can hit "pay dirt" or "pan out". On these types of components. I am by no means an expert in e-scrapping. But. Digging a little deeper into a mysterious component may find a new vein of gold. "There be gold in them there hills"
