Motherboards are produced in mass. Every penny that can be saved, will be. Less gold used, cheaper components that get the job done and such. Not to mention how quickly things become obsolete so there's less reason to build for longevity.
Because Boardsort gets tons of material they can usually determine pretty quickly how valuable certain boards are, so in reality an integrated motherboard is an integrated motherboard and not high peripheral because it's an integrated motherboard, it just yields valuable stuff at a lower rate.
You are not wrong, most boards form AIO are made to be as cheap as it can get. Its not to say corners are cut, at least not with HP for the most part, but saving .02 cents from unit when you are shipping millions of units saves a lot. 2 cents saved that's 20k per 1 million units and that's 20k that can go towards a top executive bonus with enough left over to get the assembly line workers a pizza lunch. lol
Taking a good look at this board I see almost no gold on the connectors pins, very few MLCCs, only a couple of ICs most of witch are very small and so on.
