AMD 586, might be a Evergreen made one, idk. Ether way it's worth far more as is then as scrap assuming even broken. they tend to sell for a few 100$ if they work.

As for what class of Escrap it is, IDK, maybe apple CPU??? high telco ??? I would wait for someone else to chime in and see what they say.

I was thinking Green/Brown Fiber No Metal, but could be totally wrong.

Is this something that would be better to send as test and buy or try to sell elsewhere

Test and buy at Boardsort is limited to I series CPUs (and hopefully soon, some AMD ones).

Selling anything as working or even as just a collectible will take additional time and has its own ups and downs. If you're not interested in putting the effort into that, stick with scrap. If you're open to trying, I'm sure Austin can provide some ideas for where to look at selling; maybe start with this one item or a few if you find anything else to dip your toes in to test the waters.

for 2-400$ its worth a try.
