Hi,
Newbie here.
How do I package loose gold's pins and other small connectors that contain gold? It will be included with memory, cell phones and some peripheral boards.

Thanks

Bag and tag. Get 2 zip lock bags, put pins in bag one, then put the fist bag in the second bag with the zip lock parts on opposite ends, then wrap in a shopping bag, tape a slip of paper on it with a lable.

Alternatively grab a old plastic bottle like a peanut butter jar, clean it out and put them in it with the lid on, tape down the lid. now I want peanut butter haha.

Be sure you don't put the bags in with other boards, they'll get shredded , put them in a small box if you're gonna put them in with other boards and label the box. Everything's got to be separated in separate boxes, boxes inside boxes, etc.And clearly labeled.

As suggested, pins go great in a plastic container with a good lid and if your material isn't packed really tight it will shift and circuit board are great at destroying bags. I like to box different material and then put those boxes in another box, tetrised as tight as possible and then tape the shipping box well so even if it gets roughed up it won't fall apart.

perfectly fine to do if you use good bag and pack tight/right, I do that all the time and never had a problem. The problem is when you have a bunch of lose boards flopping around in a box, if everything is bagged, taped or tied up and packed nice and tight so it can't move bags are ok to use. Still its better to just toss all of the same item in a box, but not everything gets that much E scrap.
