Looking for someone to help me push something that will, partially, benefit boardsort.
I have my own website. And I’ve used it to run sporadic live auctions.
But I want to make a blog. One dedicated to the world of electronics. I’ll primarily focus on video games and computing but also cover other aspects. My hope is to post weekly or more.
I want to link into major blog companies. I want to have the major posts free and offer paid content. I want to reboot m what’s inside series as paid content: you all Pa the fees and I’ll buy the whatever to disassemble. (True story: someone here asked if I would disassemble my family owned private jet on video! Uh, no!) I will run 30 day posts for votes and the highest vote I’ll run a 30 day go fund me type off site to buy the item. Be it a lightbulb or a blade server or, if yall actually pay for it, another plane.
That said the primary goal I have is to spill knowledge on tech. Sometimes I’ll border into politics. Some stories have bad endings. But I have 30+ years in the tech industry, 40+ as a hardcore gamer. I own computer and video game prototypes that the CHM makes white stains over. I’ve worked for GE, IBM, Prodigy Communications, and most importantly in com, for AOL. I am one of the GUI writer for the Mac and windows versions of AOL. As a teen. Beyond the back end I was a guide for AOL in the VGS, midi, and comp rooms.
I ran my own BBS (jampro1) from 1995-2023. The third longest running bbs in the U.S. .
Ok… done being a freak and gushing
I need help. Someone who understands the internet backend. Every attempt I’ve made to flush out my web site and make a cross platform corse service offering has failed.
I need someone with modern web experience to help out. As a volunteer
I want to create a blog : especially on sub stack I want to post videos I want to have a buyin for old crap. On the last, yall pay I buy. I’ll disassemble on video. Fix and sell (my money) if I can, scrap to boardsort if I can’t.
But mostly I want to talk about retro gaming and the computing world. Yall want to discuss the end of x86 and the future of arm? The latest update to brutal DooM? The pending release of the NG home system? How about the rise of tape storage in 2025? Wow Need someone with the skillz to set me up.
Help please
