I'm wondering if anyone has ever scrapped one of these and if its worthwhile ? This one seems to work and boots to dos and has word and excel. I'm not sure if I should scrap it by taking it apart of try to sell it or save it.. On ebay they are litsted from $100-$300 but who know if that's real .. CPU is 286 12mhz

I also got a hold of a few dozen AD595CQ IC's new in tube .. Are these still usable or is it scrap ?

My opinion.

Scrap is the last possible avenue for an item(s). If you can try and resell I personally would. My own personal rule of thumb is if it doesn't sell in (insert timeframe) x amount of days/weeks/months then I sell as scrap to Boardsort.

OR if I receive something from something and they strictly say "sell as scrap you may not resell" then I have no choice but to oblige.

Yes I realize that but I was hoping someone would say there is $xx worth of scrap in there so I can better decide. No doubt resell is better but it's also a waste of time for some items that may never sell or attract somone who offers the price of scrap anyway.
