Anyone here know how to e-cycle/recover desktop computer keyboards, mainly the Silver wiring that is contained between Mylar covered sheet inside the keyboard, or know where to send the sheets for e-cycle/recovery?
Your reply is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Generally I sell them to the same buyer I use for xray and film negatives and slides.

When you do find a buyer be prepared for two things. One: they want weight. Two: this stuff adds up weight wise quickly.

Values are all over the place right now.
Absolute Worst case you can probably get a larger scrap yard to buy it as shred rate or take it for free.

Thanks for the reply.
May I ask, how much are they paying per pound for these Mylar Keyboard sheets that contain Silver?

I bring in mine mixed with other silver materials; x-rays, film stock, LCD backing sheets....
I try to bring it in quarterly but my last trip was in August and was $18.50 per pound. I was under the “required” weight of 200lbs and took a hit but I think it was $25 or $26 at that time.
Again like all metals and recyclables in general the prices are different across the country: LA vs NY, Chicago vs Huston.

Thank you for your replies and helpful information.
I'm still needing help finding a buyer for my Silver coated LCD backing sheets and Silver wire stamped keyboard Mylar Sheets.

I'm preparing to bring a big shipment to Boardfsort, way to big to ship, so I'm planing on taking the day and driving it out to you all from the Chicago area to Cleveland Ohio. Along the way I would like to stop and sell my Mylar Sheets that I have over 200lbs of. May I have any contact information on your buyer, so that I may contact them and schedule a stop to sell my Mylar sheets to them as well?

Looking forward to your reply.
Thank you. Wishing you continued success!
You may e-mail it to me if you like.

My buyer closed in September. They specialised in electronics.
In greater Chicago you can try
Cozzi 847-233-0300.
Or redline. 630-932-3151.
Or west Melrose 708-344-8926
Or abco 773-881-1504

What price could you get for laptop key boards not disassembled? Man those things are hard to take apart. The desktop key boards are a breeze.

I'm still having no luck finding a buyer for my Mylar Sheets.
I have inquired with Cozzi, redline, west Melrose, and abco, as well as with dozens of other potential buyers, still no luck with finding a buyer.
Please feel free to let me know if you or of anyone you know of may be interested in buying these. If interested, about how much do you all pay per pound?

I currently have the following quantities available for sale:

Silver Printed Stamped Mylar Sheets from Computer Keyboards -
25-30 pounds.

Silver Coated Mylar Backing Sheets from LCD Display Monitors -
50-60 pounds.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
