no, they don't give an upgrade for the small amount of fingers... clip them off (if you are saving them) and sell the board as peripheral.

Finger cards have to be pci, isa, pciX, bus card, or full size PCIe; 1x rarely gets finger card and 4x is hit or miss.
In this case that’s not going to make it. As mls said clip them off.

A quick FYI, if the rack plates get any thicker than that they should be removed. Especially the ones that wrap underneath. This is still rather small and thin but some server card plates like the spring loaded ones can weigh three or four times the card weight.
