Those will go as cable ends. I've done the same thing myself when I scrap my hard drives. As a quick reference, the following items are known to have gold plated connector ends:
USB cables DVI video cables VGA video cables IDE ribbon cables SATA ribbon cables RJ-11 plugs RJ-45 plugs Ethernet jacks Telephone jacks Parallel printer cables SATA power plugs off power supplies
When scrapping these items, just trim the cable ends with a pair of nippers or a strong pair of scissors, then toss the ends into a box or bag. The cable can go to your local scrap yard or to boardsort where they will buy it as mixed wire.
