Are QFNs and DFNs considered ICs to boardsort's standard?

With a heavy tungsten spreader it goes pinless

Thanks for the reply! Kinda confused on what you mean by spreader tho? As in a center pad(ground pad)?... Would you mind clarifying if these would be sellable. Obviously after accumulating much more thanks

Might be hard to see but #4 is dfn that has gold pads. Not sure if this would be a different category of ics.

Everything except 4 is standard IC chips.

By spreader I’m referring to a piece of metal, usually tungsten or tungsten plated copper,

About 1/8-1/16th of an inch thick that weighs more than the IC it’s attached to.

Typically yes. But on ultra condensed boards, eg embedded systems, they can be found on the tiniest of ICs.
I stole Chris’s photo for the example since I come across the micro minis so rarely I never thought to photo one.
