1. Ceramic, gold cap, silver colored legs. Most were soldered. Some socketed.
2. Mostly ceramic, a few plastic, gold legs, no cap.
3. Ceramic, gold leg, cap looks nickel.
4. White ceramic, gold leg, black plastic cap.
5. White ceramic, gold leg, cap looks nickel.

can help some

gold cap silver legs chips are Motorola/foreign.
Silver cap gold legs are IBM/Via .

um sure lost will be around soon.for the others

First batch pentium/Mac ceramic. The caps are nickel/tin, not silver
Second batch pentium/Mac ceramic
Third batch pentium/Mac ceramic
Firth batch. Layered ICs, these are AMD ceramic.
Final batch. Gold caps with nickel-silver legs. IBM/via gold caps. Barely.

1-4 may or may not get upgraded: they’re all edge of class ICs that have some fluctuations based on market.
