Would boards 6 and 7 be classified as gold finger cards? In general, if they are expansion cards, would that be the case?
Yes, all most all cards that have fingers will go as a Gold Finger Card. There is exceptions, of course. Some cards are so highly populated that they can go as High Grade Telecom while other cards (like board 10 in this post) have almost no value besides the fingers.

If it came from a CD-Rom or Hard Drive, would those cards generally go in that category?
Yes, if it came out of a Hard Drive or CD-Rom Drive, then you would be safe putting the board into that category. The newer CD-Rom drives might not count since they have like 2 IC's on a tiny little board compared to the old drives that have a board that can span half the length and width of the drive (and some of the even older one have bigger boards) and they have many IC's.

Card 10 looks uninteresting to my untrained eye. Would this be a case for cutting off the gold tabs?
I will let you know when I hear back from Chris.
