What are these boards classified as if needing to leave whole?

Leave whole or remove all for bulk connectors?

If removed are the boards worth anything separately?

Yeah this is another one that isn't obvious to some of us less experienced people. I was thinking it might be able to go up as high as backplane but then there's not much there so maybe as low as midgrade. And it's all going to depend on the gold pins.

I don't know if connector ends have a size limitation but if Picklejar feels more confident than me that that's where the value is at then I'd suggest going in low peripheral.

If this hasn't been overly helpful I'd suggest emailing Chris (Boardsort) and get a definitive answer.

TBH I'm not really confident, I just felt that connector end grade would make the most sense because it's a board with most of the weight being a bunch of telephone jacks and two printer ports (I keep forgetting what they are called but whatever it is it's a connector end).

I'm not really sure if connector ends has a size limit, but, Chris said he previously told customers to sell low peripheral boards as connector ends prior to when low peripheral was added to the payout rates. I'm not really sure if the grade can be used interchangeably when you can't tell if it better fits as a connector end or low peripheral though.

I'm not really familiar with the backplane grade either, I think it is for boards with lots of gold plated pin connectors that are worth more than connector ends or low peripheral.

Maybe ccussins or lostinlodos can step in with a more definite answer, or otherwise, email Chris about the breakout boards.

Amphenol connector, (Centronics connector is the 36 pin printer connector). The break out board turns one 50 pin Amphenol connector into 25 phone jacks

I think you are correct on the connector end classification because that's all there is. Most backplane boards have ICs and other higher value components.

Keep in mind that I'm no expert.

I feel like this is one where it wouldn't hurt to get a grade straight from Chris just so we know.

Chris replied:

I would buy them all as connector ends just cut off.
