I can see some yards doing that with the plastic on it. Every yard operates a little differently but given the quantity and being able to see it, tscranton might be able to get a better price. Just has to do the legwork to find out.

My local scrapyard does not want tape or stickers on copper (otherwise it would be #2). However, tape or twine to hold together bundles of copper pipes is fine. There's no rules on thickness though, clean wire and pipes can be sold as #1.
