I have a number of IQ Security panels. I am wondering what value they might have. There are 4 components excluding the touch screen that make up these devices and they have aluminum covering (I think) over parts of the circuitry. Could anyone suggest what these boards might bring. I am also trying to figure out if it worth pulling this thing apart.

The first two pictures are front and back of the main board with covering and underlying frame removed

The second picture is essentially how the item come out of the device

The third set is front and back prior to removing aluminum shielding but the smaller cards set on top of the larger have been pulled off (Front and Back)

Lastly the shielding is removed showing circuity below and the aluminum framing(Again Front and Back)

If you leave the shields on you're probably looking at midgrade.

I'm prefacing the rest of this with the fact that the picture resolution isn't great/motion blur is hiding some of the detail:

The main board should be at least high peripheral. Remove the ribbon cable. Boardsort doesn't buy SIM cards if that's what I'm seeing on the opposite side.

The smaller boards should be at least low peripheral but not 100% sure what I'm seeing on those.

Off topic, but is it ok to leave sim cards in boards?

Not sure, I know they don't want them in with Gold Fingers
