Since all your posts are about chips I'll try and give you some basic sorting advice here. Before forcing you to read all this to get to the grade, it's black fiber. The material the chip is made out of is the first way to separate, which is fiber and ceramic.
Fiber is basically what any circuit board is made of and typically is green, brown or black.
Ceramic is like pottery/stone and usually cool to the touch. Most commonly a purple color like the ones you posted. I've seen white ceramic and I believe there's also a blue color and pink.
The next steps can probably be interchanged and as you get more experience you'll get a lot of the chips just by glancing and noticing several things at once.
Whether there is a heatsink attached to the chip (especially for fiber) will determine the grade for some chips. And for ceramic if there is a gold (plated) cap or two (or more for more exotic chips).
If you can determine the manufacturer that will also provide a sorting point for a lot of ceramic and some fiber chips.
Whether or not a chip has pins (usually pertains to fiber) and whether they're gold plated or not.
