I have a good amount of these gold plated RF connectors as well as plastic cased connectors. How should these be graded/sorted, I would think the plastic connector ends would be sorted different than the all gold plated ones?

The plastic connector ends with the gold pins would be graded as "Connector Ends".

I haven't seen any posts lately saying those all gold plated connectors would be considered gold plated pins. I would say they go as connector ends. That's where I would put them, and I have sent similar material as connector ends in my past shipments.

They aren't technically gold plated pins, they are gold plated connectors. I'm certain the consensus would be pins are pins and connectors are connectors.

If I'm wrong, I may be corrected by those more knowledgeable than I , which is a good thing, because we all are here to learn and earn - hope I helped & have a great day :)

You can pull the pins out of the plugs to upgrade from connector ends to gold plated pins, but that would be a lot of work to go from $1/lb to $5/lb and you would have to trim off the parts of the pin that are not gold plated. Also you could trim off all the parts on the RF connectors that are not gold plated and sort them separately and hope for an upgrade.

If it were me I would spend 15 minutes pulling pins and weigh the difference between the connector and the pins. That would give you a good reference on what the pay difference would be per hour. You also could send in a smaller sample of trimmed RF connector ends to see if they get upgraded to gold plated pins.
