 Post subject: Peripheral high grade?

I need some help with these two boards. Are they both peripheral high-grade?
“A” is missing something. Maybe a chip? Will it be a motherboard if it had the chip?

A. Yes, it would be a motherboard if it had the chip, as is low peripheral. Never remove a chip unless it is in a socket.
B. High peripheral
