I think these came out of an old batch of telephone equipment I got back in the 80s. about 2 inch aluminum c-shape, connector slots on one side with long wire wrapped pins protruding from the back. Plastic insulators in pin holes to insulate pins from aluminum.

First one is a wire wrap pin board.

I don't remember if you need to remove the wire or not. The example photo has wires on it. IIRC you can just cut the wires off and leave the ends wrapped on the pins.

Second board is a backplane board

Pi Those are the front and back of the same "board". My mind was quibbling over whether or not an aluminum plate is a "board" since it only has holes for the pins to go thru, and no layers of copper and other material like the composite computer boards. Finally it dawned on me that it is the extra long and heavy pins that give it the value, and not the substrate they go thru. Probably those mounted in aluminum are a better value for the smelter than the ones which are just thru plastic or other material since aluminum does have value of its own. I had sold a large one for pinboard which only had a two inch wide by 1/8 thick aluminum plate frame, with cuttouts for the spaces where groups of the card slots with heavy pins and no substrate at all were mounted.
