P4/Green Fiber With Metal, Green/Brown Fiber No Metal, or Flat Pack No Gold Tab

I'm not too sure where this i5 intel processor falls. Any help would be most appreciated.

On a side note when selling mother board scrap do you leave the cpu in place or remove it?

When selling mother boards always remove the CPU and sort separately. That looks like a Green/Brown Fiber No Metal to me.

When photoing CPU, always tilt slightly so readers can see if it has pins or is a no pin CPU. I can't tell if this one has pins.

Just a note: That's a Generation 3 i5, worth about $10 on ebay vs about $0.50 for scrap. Probably not worth selling on ebay if you only have one unit, but if you have several, it may be worth your while to sell it as a CPU rather than scrap. Look up the "SR" code for more details on the CPU. Yours is SR0MX.

Very interesting! I'll have to look at my old CPU pile.
