What grade? Do I need to remove the switches? The plastic housings for the connector? The 2 circled pieces? Ribbon wire on this one? 1ˢᵗ pic, to the right of the hole is what looks like an optical sensor. Do those need to go?

Remove the 2 transformers. Also the ribbon cable. The "Optical sensor"can stay. Submit as High Peripheral.

Shouldn't have to remove anything for high peripheral

I reviewed the High Grade Peripheral video on the Boardsort E-scrap price list. The speaker mentions transformers specfically. Now. I could be missing something.
Also. I always thought ribbon cable was to be removed.
I still considere myself relatively new at this.

Apologies cat, I woke up from a thunderstorm and started replying to stuff as I wasn't falling asleep immediately. I was referring to the left board. The transformers are small and there's only two, in this case it shouldn't hurt the grade.

Ribbon cables definitely remove on the right board, I'd say low peripheral on it.

I can accept that.
Just up early here. Enjoying the nice cool morning air on my front porch. Thought I would look at the forum. This is just about the time the birds start there morning chirping. Always nice to hear.

have we all reached the age where we talk about the weather Image Guess it was storming here too lol.

As for the board I would leave it as is and send it low peripheral, IDK about high, I do see some gold pins, if there is gold in the RJ-11 jacks I might send it high peripheral

I thankfully have reached the age where I can talk about the weather. And listen to the morning bird songs. My post response to Marked141. Was. As it's said. " being in the moment". What a coincidence.
I don't know Austin86. J1 and J4 should have some flash gold coating on them. J7 surely has gold on the pins. The 3 pin jack below J7 clearly has gold. In addition. The IC population takes it to High Peripheral. But. Those transformers. Me personally. I would remove them to "error on the side of caution" to secure High Peripheral. But. I know both you and Marked141. Have way more miles down the road in e-scrapping than I ever will.
