I’ve got a pretty big batch of smoke damaged asic boards that were in a container that had a fire in it. Most are green board with 5 or 6 dozen asic ICs and the copper windings as shown. A few are green boards adhered to a flat sheet or aluminum. None have gold fingers.

Wondering on board type/grade and also if I should be removing the aluminum heat sinks from the asic chips? Some heat sinks have come off on their own and some I’ve knocked off mechanically but they will often delid the IC if I knock them off.

The aluminum will have a big impact on the grade. I'd guess midgrade if it's all left on.

I can't make out the chips very well but assuming the board is essentially all ICs after the aluminum is removed I'd think high telco is a possibility unless there's something I'm missing to reduce the grade.
