Are these the same category in spite of the different chip densities and some not having any? What category would that be? The bottom left one has a heatsink, should that be removed?

Looks like some nice old boards from the time when gold was cheaper and used heavily. I would recommend getting Chris' opinion directly.

In case anyone else stumbles onto this post:
The boards are from HP test equipment, Chris said to place them all in gold finger card no bracket, and to leave the heatsink attached.

That heat sink, it has a gold Motorola Oscillator. That's why he wants that left on, fyi.

Some nice old boards. Old Tantalum caps too.
