I was hoping to get some input on the grading of these 3 boards, taken from a cassette tape player, car stereo, and turntable. I am not very familiar with the older tech and would appreciate learning what these would classify as in their current state and what possible clean up could be done to improve the grade.

Was hoping for a miracle, but that was my intuition as well. Thank you.

Yeah...unfortunately brown boards are almost always low grade.

There have been exceptions posted here before so asking to double check is never a bad thing.

I did have a follow-up question if you don’t mind. I tend to get a lot of household appliances but never sent as I didn’t know how to grade the boards. The attached here are from a garage door opener and a washer - how should I think about these?

They have similar characteristics of a peripheral low-grade board. I removed a bunch of junk and am left with a lightly populated board with a handful of chips. Would it be wrong to call these peripheral LG, or will appliance boards always go low/mid grade?

My thought on these is midgrade, the few chips on each is about all the value that's there.

You’re on the border of mid and low here.
No, quite a few appliance board, especially from the 80s and 90s, quickly get up into the peripheral range if cleaned of massive capacitors.
