This came out of some medical equipment. When I do an AI search for classification, it tells me both high grade and mid grade. It had that little chip on it as well. It has lots of gold pins on the sides

Put the IC back in its socket. Then submit as High Telecom.
Here to learn like everybody else.

Should have posted in the What it is? Identification Forum. You would have gotten a more timely response.

Another concern of this board would be the BenchMarq IC; if I'm not mistaken they are the same as Dallas switches. Works as a real time clock or CMOS

Spence1015 is right. I looked up the BenchMarq IC. It has an "onboard" battery. The IC must be removed before selling to boardsort.

I think I fell asleep before I could point out the battery...whoops.

I wasn't sure enough on the IC to say anything, I feel it's likely closer to ICs in value. Gold pins on their own would potentially lower the value from that. Even if just IC value that's better than high Telco leaving it on the board.

It kinda reminds me of an IC I had once on a laptop mobo but it was soldered on so I didn't pull it.
