I have browsed forums and watched all the videos. I have a mountain of boards to sort. Any help classifying these boards is appreciated. Thanks.

These are tough evaluations for me.
But. We all at least need some type of feedback on a learning forum like this.
Board 8. High Peripheral
Board 7. As is without cleaning. Midgrade. If gold contacts or additional ICs can be revealed. Low Peripheral.
Board 6. Very poor picture. Low Peripheral.
Board 5. High Perioheral. I see gold pin possibility.
Board 4. Low Peripheral
Board 3. High Peripheral. Gold pins are there.
Board 2. This is not a motherboard. High Telecom.
Board 1. High Peripheral.
Again. Tough evaluations.

I think I skipped these because there were so many and there's no enlarged image to see.

I'll agree 1 and 8 are probably high peripheral. Beyond that most the pictures need to be better.

#5 you're saying could be High Periheral?? Well, that sucks lol, because all of the boards that I get that are brown'ish/tan in color like that one is.., I just automatically throw it in a bucket that I take to the local scrap yard here and sell it as Low Grade Boards ($0.30/lb).

ok ok, so new guy here felt like I was about to advance the next level up from Greenhorn, now I can feel the 'ol hook snagging my shoulder and yanking me back to the opening credits screen of Scrapping for Dummies....

No. Not always the case. Review the High Peripheral video from the price list. You will see brownish/tan color in the pile.
Color is a guide though many times. But. Not the final determining factor.

5, depends on the connectors and the one possible IC (can't see any text on it or the board). Low peripheral seems generous, I'd stick it in midgrade without more info

Thanks for posting Marked141. I messed up that board 5 evaluation. I thought that was an IC in the middle of the board. Upon looking further. It got to be just a SIP power transistor array. The large blue resistors point to that. Plus the transistors nearby. ( hey. It was 4am) Also. I looked up the board function. Its an option board for a printer. That indirectly points to the circuit being a power device. All IC logic and computing would generally be on the main board. But. If all those connectors are gold plated. Got to be Low Peripheral. Even so. After having said that. Evaluating e-scrap components and boards is done on a visual inspection of what we see. Counting ICs. Seeing connectors. How much junk. Etc. Not going thru part number searches.
My point. Good photograph downloads on this site need to be done. Then any member can see clearly what they are looking at. So many fail in doing so. Then probably wonder. Why no response?
I will stop at that.
