 Post subject: Sata HD connectors

Hello everyone
If I were to cut the Sata connectors from a HD, would that be considered gold fingers?

They'd be gold pins or gold connector end (if in the plastic) from the HDD. Better off unscrewing the torx (occasionally phillips) screws and selling the boards intact.

SATA wire ends likely have gold pins too and would be gold connector end if snipped off.
