Yes, it looks like the new sets do not have them anymore. I have a 5 and 7 with the G 3.8 and G 4.5 for the smaller ones in game systems.

Yeah I found several things that got close since I posted originally but never what I needed. I was scrolling through posts and saw this and just thought I'd let everyone know I managed a solution without getting any new toys. I think I used some small branch trimmers that I use as wire cutters to grab into the divets in the screw head. It was tough to get them all to turn but it managed to get them all started.

Ingenuity! You can say us E-wasters are pretty good at that , :D

I was thinking a small enough socket driver, not the Hex square, but the Bi/Double hex/12 point ones, might be able to fit over that and grab the ridges; if anyone doesn't have the correct tool again.

Needle nose vice grips would probably work a charm too

Gamebit (tm?) is one section of TT screws.
I’m coming across them in security equipment and locks now more and more.

Aside from them not being bolts, but screws with no raised head?

You usually encounter these before you have access to the other side where pliers could help.

For scrap you can get a micro bolt cutter (the size of a pair of players) or a screw and nail cutter, like I use to nip the corners. No need for the screw removal then.
(Robo grip the corner screw and all after that and into dirty steel.)

For repair
I use (actual, not coated) titanium snake eyes bits for many screws. Worst case use a precision extractor set made from titanium.
But with the micro precision repair kits from Tekton and iFixIt I rarely run into screws I can’t turn with the proper bit.

Ah, you’re referring back to the original picture. Yes players could turn those.

I think I get you now, the other photos, you can get bit sets from harbor freight form some of those granted they're crappy and will not last long at all. I use the Klein Tools 32717 set, I not found much I can't use it for, even if I don't have the right bit there is one close enough to work with a little force.

Some of those heads are recessed, I managed to get several out with vise grips but some just couldn't be reached.

I eventually (recently) went back to them with a pair of pruning clippers (may not be the proper term) and managed to get a few more with some difficulty. If I remember right I got enough that I just broke the board around the rest.

I like to not break stuff if I can, having tools to do so now easily is always nice.
