These little boards were in the box with the actuators.
Black boxes have gold plated pins.
Bottom had rubber buttons and a digital readout in the white rectangle outline.

Boardsort grade?

Thanks, LindyLou

I am not a seasoned e-scrapper. But. You may squeak in at High Peripheral. But. Better minds are on this forum.

Seems borderline to me, but high peripheral is probably okay.

Tangent: if you ever come across really old thermostats check for a glass vial with mercury.

Dear marked141,

I remember reading a post on one of the forums about not sending mercury switches,so I did a little google /utube research for real world iding. Good thing. While out scavenging, I came across an older mercury thermostat and left er right where she laid.

Thanks for the guidance fellas. I DO appreciate you!

LindyLou

Fire departments use to take (and may still) old thermostats with the mercury. Some hazardous waste pickups sponsored by your city/county/etc may take them also. Might be worth looking into if you need to have a plan for disposal.
