I'm clearing out a lifetime of surplus computer parts and felt like sharing the nostalgia with everyone.

This thread is a continuation of the conversation started here: https://boardsort.com/escrapforum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=20418#p54003

(I'll clean this opening post up later when I have a minute...)

I may be looking for a ISA SB too, I spot a SB live in that photo.

I just looked through my box of ISA cards and found these Sound Blasters, I think there are three different models there.

dang that sound blaster pro is missing a bunch of chips. the other 3 are sound blaster vibra 16 and are not a card id be interested in. I saw a lot of parts in your motherboard photo too with chips and caps removed too. If I buy anything are you able to test them before hand ?

VHS decks.
Any generation of Beta formats. TI8 and Sony-8
Etc.

Again if you actually have the PB386 in the box… they have a custom mb and riser I use for making ISA breakouts for JAMMA boards.

Hey sorry for going silent, crazy in my shop atm. YES!!! I'd absolutely test anything I was sending out first, gladly provide pictures/video etc. You are correct, I've got a lot of stuff that was for parts, I've always gotten most of my repair parts from other devices. When they there's not much left they're hit with a torch for the remaining pieces then into the bin.

I'll take another look at the sound blaster vibra 16, and see how it looks. I've just gotten a couple of i486 stations set up since my last post and have so far tested about 1/3 of my old memory module stock, I think I can use these to test the sound cards, they're all ISA. Today I just rolled in an IBM PC Server 720, hasn't been touched since it was taken off line about 25 yrs ago, if it fires up I'll probably post a few pictures.

I know I did... I'll have to check if they're survived the last clearing out I did. I know I scrapped 3 or 4 Beta's last year, damn those things were seriously built!
