I have wifi boards from Cisco access points. Unlike most I have scrapped, these have one single board instead of two providing service, with the same power supply. They do have gold fingers, but probably not enough for peripheral boards.

It’s safely high peripheral.
The debate is if there’s enough for a gold finger card.

Thats funny I was just looking for a post about these. I have hundreds of these and i was going to ask how u removed the steel shielding? Usually I dint bother for the simple fact when I do it it destroys the board and pulls out the copper but u seem pretty successful

Use small/larger angle pliers and peel back.

If you have a "ton" of these boards you can always ask Chris the grade as is and if there is any way to upgrade them. He may say leave the metal caps on the board and you still get high peripheral.
