Maybe this would benefit from major junk removal.
Remove toroid.
Remove all electrolytics or at least the bigger ones.
Then cut off all jumpers.
And maybe that black object hidden in the shadow. Might have ferrite.
Then. Go ahead submit High Peripheral.
Also. Out of curiosity. I would like to see the back.

Brown boards are automatic low grade board

Yank the chips, yank the copper.

I was thinking high peripheral as well due to the generous amount of IC chips but after looking at the video, boardsort still wants those in the low grade bucket (with harvesting allow). Perhaps that’s because of the recycling process of recycling being different for the brown board than green ones. That’s perhaps why a green board on both sides will still need to be placed in the midgrade bucket.

Please review the Peripheral High Grade video in the e-scrap list. At the far right in the video. Brown boards are shown. A brown board is not automatic Low or Mid Grade. Like austin86 pointed out. There are brown boards. Tan. Etc. That are NOT automatic Mid/low Grade. To learn this fact about "brown boards" in e-scrap most likely is a long term journey. Though I agree. It's NOT the normal that a "brown board" is anything but Mid/Low Grade.

I'll echo that brown isn't automatically low grade and that low grade is a good starting point when you see it.

Catwhisker asked about seeing the other side, I kinda want to see it too as I'm on the fence for low or high peripheral. Basically I'm wondering how much copper is in the board? If copper is covering a large majority of the back I'd feel better about saying high peripheral, but if it's bare minimum to allow the board to function, I'd probably be more comfortable going low. But I tend to sort into lower value grades when I'm unsure so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have found optical mouse with brown boards and my lone (only one I have ever found) gold legged IC chip.

I kept that sucker because after recycling electronics for 8 months or so now it is the only one I have ever found.
