At least high Telco. Not sure if it can get a better rate. If nobody else can offer a definitive assessment I'd email Chris to see how he'd take it

Is it RAM or some kind of old style L2 cache module? Not that it effects the scrap category, but I'm just wondering. The only info I can see on it it the HP logo.

Do you have just one or several? If you have several I would send Chris an email because there's a big difference between high grade telecom and RAM.

the chips on it are dram and cache tends to use sram, that much I know. I'm betting this is ram for a old laptop or portable system, maybe from a server or scsi card. But TBH I don't know what it come out of. I never much been around older HP stuff.

The chips on the board are without a doubt. RAM chips.
So. It is a RAM board. But. No gold fingers.
What to do? Just like it is. I would submit High Telecom.
But. If one would cut the connector off. Put that into Connector Ends. Then submit the board as Trimmed RAM. At $19 50 a lb. As opposed to High Telecom at $11.00 a lb. Might be a better move. Just an e-scrapper thought.
Unless you have a large quanity. My suggestion would probably be unproductive. But. It could make a difference. Again in large quanities.
Here to learn like everybody else.
My evaluations are my own opinion.

For what it's worth I had a similar situation:

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=19292&p=34856#p34856

Granted prices were flip flopped at the time for high Telco and fingerless... I would not trim the connector off unless you contact Chris and ask first.

now that's a smart move! that's what I would do. and if there is gold pins in the connector you can send it in as a connector end too.

Maybe this is one of my overly cautious moments but I still think if you want to go that route you need to verify with Boardsort first as it's not a standard form for what's considered RAM. Removing the connector may end up taking off more value than leaving it or may not even make what's left a better grade.
