I got 13 sticks of this EDO ram in a pickup. Don't know anything about it except that lostinlodos has said don't scrap it. Do I have some thing of decent value here? I don't really do sales of material except scrap.

The issue with EDO isn’t value. It’s worth a gold mine.

And anyone who sells it will be canceled in ways modern cancel culture has no equivalency too.

… people have killed people who sold EDO. As in dead. You post on ebay your account will be blacklisted. Backcomp or retro gamer, you’re gone for asking a price.
Hell… seriously, even the gold refiners forums will nuke you moment you type e d and o.

One of these days I’ll finish my write up novella level post on it… but it’s the one thing in the retro community everyone knows and everyone respects.

EDO was produced by 5 companies under 12 brandings and two later recyclers brandings. It cost a fortune when it came out and still is worth a fortune o day if—*IF*— you find a buyer.

It lasts decades. In the worst conditions mankind can come up with.
It runs transportation systems world wide. Powers ATMs and airports Ayoir machines, has been to space As recently as 2024.

People have died in the USA, China, Singapore, the Philippines, and Japan for selling it.

All said, ebay, still the largest auction site world wide, will let you sell bags of poop in most countries but will close your account if you try to sell EDO.
