It's not as clear cut as it's made out to be and you're quite close. especially in that pentium II- III /AMD k5 era that are boundary benders . Slot processors are always slot processors but there's quite a few riser units that cross over int the sp category so when in doubt always ask. I've had quite a few bumped up and an equal amount cut down before I figured out exacts and still make occasional mistakes on CPU riser boards.
It was a time when intellectual advancement outpaced the tech to put it into use. 92-98 is the hardest era to class anything because there's so much variation.
